The Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority (AT), has been ordered to return to the taxpayer part of the vehicle tax (ISV) levied on the importation of a used automobile.

The Supreme Administrative Tribunal (TAS) has turned down a request for appeal by the AT, in a definitive and final way.

The AT must now return the extra tax charged, according to the newspaper “Jornal de Negócios”
